Hot Fuzz By Shulockabaulugy By shulockabaulugy on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is one of my favorite movies, and is right up there with "Shaun of the Dead". "Hot Fuzz" starts off as a who-dun-it picture/ comedy and by the last thirty minutes becomes an all-out, non-stop action-packed finale. With all of this flying at us, director Edgar Wright never loses focus of the storytelling portion, while Pegg and Frost are the best comedy duo that I've seen in a long while. It also contains some gruesome slapstick, which leads to easily the most extravagant death scene, so far, of 2007. What irks me is that no one really saw it, and movies like "Norbit", "Epic Movie", and "Wild Hogs" sat proudly at the top of the box office. Maybe it was the advertising which honestly was missing all the good qualities of the movie. I hope it gets more recognition now that it's on DVD. The Brits have outdone themselves, again.
