Hot Paws Gloves - Nice and Fleecy
By Munky onLiving up in Canada I tend to own numerous types of gloves for various different weather conditions. I find that the hot paws fleece gloves are the perfect glove on a mildly cold spring or fall day. The glove itself is made out of fleece so while it does provide some warmth, on extremely cold days the gloves are not very effective. Some people out there might be a little hesitant to buy fleece gloves because they don't have much grip, but the Hot paws gloves come with 'anti slip grips' (I made that one up!) on the palm of the glove and on the thumb which prevent your hands from slipping while holding onto a steering wheel or holding onto an object. The gloves also have an adjustable Velcro strap near the wrist so you can tighter the glove. This is a nice quality if you have gloves that are a little big; this strap allows you to tighten the glove around your hand so it doesnt fall off.
The gloves themselves are pretty generic; there is nothing about the design or styles which makes them flashy or stick out. Personally I think this is a good quality because the company is more focused on the effectiveness of the glove, as opposed to its style. The glove is not intended to be warm in -30 degree Celsius weather and I think the company is aware of that.
Overall I find these gloves to be relatively warm on mild days but not effective during the frigid winter days. If you are looking for a fleece glove with some grip then I recommend you try this glove, and I think once you try it you won't be able to get your 'paws' out of them. :)

Thanks for the info, these sound great for Sept-Oct weather!
Sounds good. Any info on where to buy or what we should expect to pay?
These would have been helpful to have this winter in Ohio. It gets pretty cold here...although maybe not as cold as Canada! I like the velcro straps that allow you to adjust fit. This is important because not everyone likes their gloves to fit the same way. Excellent product and I will keep them in mind for next winter!
Very funny Munky! They sound like a fine pair of gloves for mild winter weather. Pretty much exactly what we get down here in the South:0) Thanks for the information. If my Isotoner wear out, MAYBE I'll look at this brand.
We get some cold here in Georgia but nothing like Canada so fleece gloves would be fine here. I like that they have the anti slip grip so at least you don't have to take them off when you are driving.
Believe it or not, some of our Sacramento days and nights get downright frigid. These gloves sound like a perfect solution for those cold early morning frost times.
We do not see extreme cold here but I still have to wear gloves, my hands have boutineer deformity and when they get cold they lock up, but I tend to stick with the leather like gloves so I can grip things.
These sound like they'd be perfect for my 'paws' all winter in my climate. I like the idea of fleece with 'anti-slip grips'!
I would imagine that being up in Canada that you really need something warm on those frigid days! I like the feature of the grips!
I live in canada and these gloves I will be looking into
