We have HotShots Golf and love it, so when we saw HotShots Tennis we had to have it! We is me, my husband, and our 9 1/2 year old daughter. Well I'm here to tell you - HS Tennis is MUCH harder than the golf game! At this point it's so hard it's frustrating. The tutorial is good and it should get better (we hope). The tutorial walks you through it step by step. It gives your large squares to aim your shot at and as you get better the squares get smaller; if you miss they get large again. You can choose your player and venue, and the players have funny "personalities" that are true to the HotShot series. You have a lot of choices for game play here too - you play single against the computer, all the way to 4 player double match - it will be a lot of fun! This is rated "E" for everyone, and content-wise that is true, but I think it is definitely too difficult for younger kids. Granted I'm not a great gamer but my husband usually picks up on games quickly and he struggled with it. So - my final comments on this game - if you like the HotShot golf game and want to try tennis definitely get it, just know it will take longer to learn. If you like other tennis video games and want to try a more "irreverant" version that's just a lot of fun but still has great gameplay this is for you!
