My son did not like this sling at all. When he was a newborn he did not want to be put in the folded up position for me to carry him around and he screamed the whole time he was in it. I found it very hard to figure out how to put on, and I was constantly worrying that he would fall out of it. I just don't think it is very safe. I also had an issue with having so much material over the side of myself, it felt like I was just carrying a blanket around over me. Perhaps it was just the temperment of my child, but he hated this sling. I never used it more than a couple of times for this reason. I now have a Baby Bjorn baby carrier and I would recommend that to anyone thinking about getting a sling instead!
