We recently received this book and the matching book, "How Do Dinosaurs Eat Their Food?" for my daughter's birthday. My children have loved both of these books.
This book, by Jane Yolen, covers going to bed and how to go to bed nicely. It's excellent for anyone who's having trouble getting their child to go to bed without a big fight. The first half of the book demonstrates improper sorts of behaviors, by asking questions such as "Does a dinosaur slam his tail and pout?" My children love to yell back "no!" The second half demonstrates the dinosaur going to bed nicely.
The illustrations are again done by Mark Teague. They include the name of the dinosaur spelled out in the picture. Some are quite amusing, with giant dinosaurs snuggling tiny teddy bears and bedrooms bedecked in dinosaur themes.
I would highly recommend this book. It's very helpful in encouraging children to go to bed nicely.
