How Do Parent's Choice Baby Wipes Compare? By April on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

When buying baby products, a lot of times generic brands do not compare to the name brand. I was sick of paying the high price of the name brand baby wipes, so I thought I would try a store brand, Parent's Choice, which was a fraction of the name brand price. I chose the same type that I always did, unscented and alcohol free. What I found was this: absolutely no difference!

From the moment I started using Parent's Choice baby wipes, my son has not suffered from diaper rash or any allergic reaction many generic brands offer. The wipes are durable, they do not rip or tear, and they are also great for other uses. They help clean food off my son's face, scuff marks off the floor and fingerprints off DVDs. If you are sick of paying for name brand diaper wipes, Parent's Choice wipes are my choice!

The price is great and the moisture is lacking. Also, there's a reason why these wipes are useful for cleaning as described above. They are rough and a bit scratchy as well. I would not recommend using these for babies that are newborns or have sensitive skin or currently have a rash as it would only aggravate it further or cause one with so many diaper changes that newborns go through. Also, if you are prone to hemrroids then do not use these as they are way too scratchy and feel like a brillo pad when sensitivity is an issue.
