How To Eat Fried Worms On Dvd By Jana on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This movie was originally a book. And I loved it. I occasionally help out in a 5th grade classroom that my mom teaches at. I guess you could say that I'm just a fifth grader at heart. Maybe this is more a fourth grade book though. I don't know because it seems like kids are more and more advanced as times go on.

Anyway, this movie is awesome. It is rated PG which I was surprised with, but I think it's because there are bully issues. Please know that this isn't bad, not totally. I mean literally there are bullys in real life and kids are subjected to it. I think the kids should see this movie though because it's awesome. And gross and kids usually love both.

Ok, now the movie. This movie is about a boy who moves and starts at a new school. Because he is new he has to make all new friends and is labeled the new boy, which in general means he might get picked on a little more because no one knows him. One thing leads to another and he is known for eating worms. So the bully of the school goads him into eating them and they are trying to think of different ways to make it so they could eat worms without it being super nasty and horrible. This in general seems just icky, but this movie is hilarious and I love it! I super highly recommend it, even if you're a bit sqeamish, you will enjoy this movie!
