How To Hook Up A Belkin Wireless Router
By Mary60 onI needed a new router as my old one just quit. Went to WalMart and got the Belkin Wireless Router alittle cheaper than if i had gone to the computer stores. WalMart does carry some good choices of computer things. The instructions told me to unplug the bad router cable from the computer and to plugthe new cable into the gray port on the new router. Use the new cable which is included in the box and connect to the yellow port on the router, and the other end into the modem, then plug in modem 's power supply, wait a minute, and wait for the modem to start. Now plug the Belkin power supply into the wall outlet, and other end into black port on new router. The new router will light up with blue lights. Check connections if you don't get the blue lights after 20 seconds. There is also an installation CD that can guide you thu the process. This router can turn on a high speed mode(20/40MHz). Last it has a reconnect button that helps when i have problems with wireless and internet difficulties when trying to connect to them. I have had to use this reconnect button before, buttheBelkin Router works very effective for my computers.

We really need a wireless in our house. Thanks for a great review.
Belkin has a good reputation for being hardware-friendly with different cable modems, wireless adapters and PCM cards, not just their own name brand. So I bought a Belkin, too, and I've been very happy with it.
This is a good wireless router. I'm currently using another brand though. :)
