Yes, I'm going to pull a Martha Stewart on you all now. Well, here's how to keep your home office nice & organized, a simple filing cabinet from Target. I always file all our bills, receipts & important papers in this filing cabinet for easy access. And I can find the documents when I need it. There are three drawers for your belongings. The top drawer is about 2 inches deep & fits one of those flat drawer organizers to keep all your pens, staplers, paper clips, etc. organized & out of childrens reach. The bottom two drawers are a little over 10 inches deep & I have hanging files on them, A - Z. The only thing I don't like is unlike other drawers they cannot be pulled all the way out (otherwise it might tip over) making it a little harder to reach the files in the back. So do use with caution. The metal is not as sturdy & thick as other cabinets I have used but, that probably explains why it was so much cheaper than others that I have had in the past. Our son was able to put a ding in it when he banged the side with one of his toy cars. There is a lock for all the drawers which is perfect to keep our children from into mishchief or getting something that might get them hurt. It serves its purpose well & was not a big drop in the bucket.
