Hoya Uv Filter By delta on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Alright, so its just a piece of glass cut in a circle with some threaded metal around it, BUT, Hoya still messed it up!

I suppose functionally speaking, its fine, i mean it doesn't distort the picture or whatnot, although it does seem to increase lense flair.

I was under the impression Hoya was quality (not like chain junk like quantaray and whatnot), but i'm dissapointed in its build quality, its more expensive then the cheaper stuff, but the threads are half missing and an inner ring holding them on was half off when I got it, luckily it was easy enough to push back on, but i must say i'm dissapointed, I'd of returned it had I noticed it in the store. I later searched for other's experience and it appears my issue is quite common. I'd recommend buying from a better company, or saving money and buying cheaper stuff.
