HP All-In-One PrinterScannerCopier
By kman63 onAfter years of having a seperate printer and scanner cluttering up my computer area, I decided it was time to look for a decent-priced printer and scanner combo. The Hewlitt-Packard All-In-One is a compact unit that includes a printer and a scanner and has an added copier feature.Setup for this printer was very easy. All you need to do is connect up the power cord, then plug it into the computer with a USB cord (not included with printer).Installing the ink cartriges is now easier than my last printer, as there is a little access door on the side of the printer that opens up.Finally, the last step is to run the installation CD and follow the steps on-screen.The installation disk will put quite a few very helpful applications on your computer that make scanning and photo editing simple and easy.
The resolution of things I print out or copy is average, but still decent. This printer is very fast, and will spit out a page in just a few seconds. My favorite feature with this model are LED indicators which tell you (approximately) how much ink you have left. This is very helpful because I grew tired of guessing how much longer I could go on a cartrige.According to the manual, the paper tray should hold no more than 80 sheets, which I think should be more than enough for most people. If you are interested in networking this unit, it is not designed to do so.Resolution is great for scanned items.Overall, I was happy with this purchase, since I got good print quality plus extra features for only 70 dollars. Definately a good deal.
