HP Black Ink Cartridge

I used to have a love/hate relationship with my printer. I loved printing things but hated the cost of the ink. When my husband and I decided to get a new printer, one of the things we looked at was the cost of ink cartridges. I had a hard time spending $30 on a new cartridge or making a huge mess trying to refill it. I was really happy to find a printer that took a really affordable cartridge and gave reasonable quality prints. We don't use our printer to print photos very often, if I was going to do that a lot, I'd invest in a better printer but for a good household printer this one is great. The ink cartridge itself is compact, doesn't get messy and only occassionally needs to have the head wiped clean. It is super easy to install; just slide the holder to the center of the printer, pop out the old cartridge and pop the new one in. No buttons or levers, no tight spaces where you can't get a good look, let alone a good grip on the cartridge. This cartridge can't be refilled but at $15 each, you really aren't saving much by trying to refill it. I no longer dread the low ink warning!
