We have been using HP Business Inkjet 1100 Printer in our home office for over 4 years now, and it has been working very well. Marketed as a personal business printer, it is made for high-volume and cost-effective printing, both color and black & white. I would describe our usage of it as "occasional high-volume." Our day-to-day use is limited to printing out a letter, a map or a travel itinerary downloaded from the Internet, but once in a while, we need to print a lot: cards, church bulletin inserts, large book excerpts (we have an editor in the family). The printer does it all, from simple black & white drafts to nice, high-resolution cards and photographs. It works fast (20-23 pages a minute) and with excellent quality. Of course, cartridges are used up quicker during such high-volume work, but replacement cartridges are easily available at Best Buy or any other computer store, and there is a nice buyback program for used ones, which helps to save some money.
We are very pleased with this printer, During these 4 years, we haven't had any problems with it.

HP is a good brand in printers - I still have my photosmart from a few years ago and it's going strong....
I had a HP printer for years until I brought my Canon :)
I never do any high volume printing myself but are constantly replcing our cheap printers, this sounds like it might be one to look at.
Pretty good price for a business grade printer. I have always had HP printers and always had good luck with them.

This is a great price for a printer. Of course the printers are coming down in price because the ink cartridges are so expensive. Either way they get you! Sounds like this one is great for the home office!
You know I have one of their printers and I bet its about 10 years old. Simple little printer No fancy gadgets on it. Works like a charm. Now their newer printers they are ok but I really like this old one. Uses little ink. Fairly cheap to buy new cartridges. Thats the way printers should be made. lol
I have an HP too, and never had any problems with it.
