Reviewing: Hp C3140 All In One
Purchased at: Walmart     Price: $99.88 USD

An all-in-one printer is the solution to many dilemmas in the office. As a freelance translator and journalist, I have many requests to have documents scanned into a PDF file, printed and mailed, or even copied as a photo to send to another client.Without this recent technology, I would have no work space seeing that my entire office would be filled to the brim with machines to fill the various requests.Just less than ten years ago when HP came out with the first all-in-one printer under $100.00 I went scanning the stores for the first one.

Just after three years, my first HP printer lost its battery so it was cheaper to purchase a new one to replace it.I decided that my days were much easier with the HP printer; therefore I chose to purchase another one similar but as a newer model. This printer is green in color and adds flavor to my dull home office. It can print, copy and do numerous photo features.

For me, I love the copier option and the photo center. In the photo center, almost any size of memory stick can fit into the printer itself, which means you no longer have to use all those USB cords. Then, simply press the photo button and the software will come up automatically on the computer screen. It prints wonderful photos and is quite fast.

There are two negatives compared to the previous model. The first negative for this printer is that the ink cartridges are very expensive. The color cartridge lasts for only about 50-100 photos. The second one is that scanner does not work as well as the previous; it takes longer and is not as clear.

All in all though, I love the all-in-one printer option compared to have numerous machines in my home office.

I love HP, my only complaint too is the cost of the ink. Thanks for the great information.
