HP Deskjet 5440 Printer

I use the HP deskjet as the primary printer for my home and it is a sturdy, reliable printing machine. The color prints are not blazing fast but fast enough, and the quality is slighty above average in my opinion. The black prints are as clean and fast as most printers that are available today. The software it comes with is easy to set up and printing a word document is a breeze. The negatives of this printer include the high price of the cartridges. The ink may run out relatively quickly if you make a lot of prints and the replacements can become a hassle. Also, the printer does not turn itself on and off. Before you print something, you must turn on the system itself for the computer to recognize it. But for the price you are paying, the printer does a more than adequate job.
