I received the HP E317 5MP Digital Camera as a gift from a friend last Christmas. I must say the camera is not really that bad. First off all it is a pretty inexpensive cameral. It can be found for under a hundred dollars in most retail stores. It has decent resolution. It has the option of taking 5MP pictures. The internal memory is not very good, but you can by a SD card really cheap to fix that problem. Also it does have a problem with red eye. A lot of my pictures will come out with people having red eyes. The good thing is that HP provides a really good software suite for editing photos. It is real easy to remove, but it can be a pain. It has a small display, but what do you expect for under a hundred dollars. It only has a digital zoon as well. Overall, if you are looking for a decent, but cheap camera, this might be the one for you.
