Okay my son's father Tim bought 2 HP laptops to help get his business going. We've had a few problems with them, but for the money they earned us their worth it.
Well first problems we had we batteries not charging and stuff like that and then one time it need to be reset.Since tim purchased a new laptop I kept the HP I think its perfect for pictures and writing.My father has the other HP laptop and uses it for about the same thng I do. The big downer is the price of replacement parts $60 for a powercord! On the other hand...
I love the built in web cam! And the wide screen is awsome for watching movies and music videos. Over all I'd have to say it's a good laptop for a good price.

What's with these HP products? I have HP pavilion dv9000 and also experienced some problems with it. It's almost 2 years old now, just 1 year after I purchased it and manufacturers warranty expired I started to have issues with wireless adapter. Lucky me (!!!) it was a faulty model, so they fixed it free of charge in a timely manner, that is in a week. I can't complain about customer service. So in general I'm happy with it, I just didn't know about those prices for replacement parts.
