Hp Laser Jet 2200 Printer A Workhorse By dohdeelicious on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I've had this HP LaserJet 2200 Series Printer, monochrome, since 2002. Initially, I was using it at home. As my husband's business grew, he required a heavier-duty printer with multiple trays to handle plain paper, letterhead, invoice/statements. So, despite my disappointment, I sent it to the office with him.

The HP LaserJet 2200 has performed incredibly well. For 3 years, it was the only printer running in our office for all of our correspondence, billing, and internal documentation. We are an inventory-intensive business and update for our staff - on paper - weekly. It has2-250 sheet trays and a manual feed tray. We use all 3 trays every day.

We have easily used Non-OEM consumables - cartridges - on this printer since purchase.

It integrated fine with Windows O/S 98 and Windows O/S XP. Upgrading from one O/S to another was problem-free.

In 6 years, we have had one failure. We sent it out for repair and it is still going strong. I can't say enough about the peace of mind of having a primary business machine that operates seamlessly and smoothly our HP LasertJet 2200 Printer provides us.

We are definitely replacing it with another HP LaserJet when the time comes. Let's just hope it's not anytime soon!

I'm picky when evaluating products and services. Some say "detail-oriented" and others say "a bit of a perfectionist"; either way,......
