When my HP laptop's battery seemed to no longer hold a charge, it was time to think about replacing it. I went to Hewlett-Packard's official store, and found this 12 cell notebook replacement battery. I found that this replacement model was much, much better than my original. Very lightweight, adding roughly a pound to your laptop's weight. Its listed run time is for 8.4 hours, but that can vary depending on what you are doing. Watching DVDs or playing computer games will run down the battery at a quicker rate. Uses lithium-ion (Li-Ion) cells to increase power holding capacity. It is compatible with these HP notebook models: dv1000, ze2000, dv4000, zt4000, V2000, M2000, V4000. I think this would be a great choice for all you HP notebook owners out there. This is a rather expensive replacement battery, but like I say, you get what you pay for. With this particular model, I get the run time and long life expectancy that I need out of a laptop battery.
