Hp Pavilion 716n Desktop Pc By Jennifer Claerr on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

The Hewlett Packard Pavilion 716n is an excellent desktop computer. With a Pentium 4 2.4 GHz processor with hyperthreading technology, and an 800 MB front side bus, this computer can still compete with others which were manufactured later. The unit comes with 512 MB of memory, which is adequate but leaves me running slow at times. It is upgradeable to 2 GB, so there is room for improvement. The 80 GB Ultra DMA hard drive is more than adequate to my needs, and it has a very fast 48x CD-ROM drive, and a CD/DVD/RW drive which meet all of my CD reading and writing needs. The on board graphics have 64 MB of video memory, and are upgradable in the AGP slot. I use the integrated 10/100 Base-T Fast Ethernet interface on a daily basis in my home network. In short, this is a highly desirable, useful, and upgradable computer.
