This desktop computer is pretty good. That doesn not mean that it is very good. It was purchased about 3 years ago so it is pretty much obsolete. The computer unit is pretty big and heavy, but I have put an additional hard drive and DVD/CD RW in it and there is plenty of expansion room left. I have had to replace the power supply because of it. Before I replaced the power supply it would make this horrible noise, but I would just kick the side of it and the noise would stop. :-) Anyway, the HP Pavilion a316n is a good computer. If you just do the basics like check email, surf the web and play the occasional computer game, this will definitely work for you. If you're a heavy gamer that pushes your computer to the limit, get something else!!
