Hp Pavilion Dv6780se By richie_rich on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
overall im satisfied with this one, although there are a number of flaws they are minimal and not noticeable by someone whose not a poweruser, if youre just an ordinary laptop looker, this one fits you the most. for those who dual boots youll be disappointed, xp doesnt have a driver for its hard drive, anyway, for dual booting just email me, i got mine on xp and vista right now. Here are the flaws... no blootooth (not mobile phone friendly), only 3 usb ports( 1 for my mouse, 1 for my external hdd, and one for my led light, kinda hard to read the keys on the keyboard at night.), a bit heavy, and feels very fragile, kinda worries me when i have it on my back pack while on airports, stainless steel speaker cover, eeeeehhh, got an hp with same speaker cover three years ago, and guess what, stainless steel got rusty, no firewire port too, and heats too much underneath, another is the pcmcia compatiblity, some pcmcia cards i have doesnt fit here, 1 bay is available, but the number of pins that fit are only half of my previous cards, and one important thing, playing dvd is not that great, although hd, the images on dvd movies looks somewhat like an analog tv, with an antenna recieving signals from the 1980s. nway i bought this laptop, knowing these issues, except for the dvd movie one, but still im quite satisfied knowing that its features can survive the next five years in terms of compatibility and reliability. good buy anyway. jjust dont expect too much...
