Hp Pavilion Entertainment Pc By Sharon Lai By Sharon Lai on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
This incredible laptop is great! I loved using it.
First of all, it has 219 GB of hard drive, which is pretty good, as well as4 gigabytes of RAM. Because it's an Entertainment PC, it's resolution is incredible and very bright.
It's pretty fast and the keyboard is great. It comes with Vista, which I believe is one of the cons of this HP Laptop, because I like XP better, though many might disagree with me.
The heat it emits is not that much, so it never overheats.
It comes with a built in webcam and high quality microphone, one of this laptop's pros.
The battery lasts 6 hours, which is good but not great. Nevertheless, it's usually connected to your wall anyways, so that doesn't make much difference.
Over all, I believe that Hewlett-Packard has made another great and popular hit with its Entertainment PC line. Its DVD playing is incredible, the screen is great, usability is awesome, there's tons of USB ports as well as SD card slot, and it's sleek and beautiful!
HP Pavilion Entertainment PC Purchased at: Office Depot Price: $600

As long as they've finally fixed their defective motherboard issue that has plagued the Pavilion since 2006 you should get plenty of use from this - if you start noticing loss of peripherals such as your wireless, your DVD burner capability, etc., especially if its still within the returnable period definitely have it exchanged. Mine began dying 3 months after purchase - today it's pretty well toast and although HP extended the warranty because of the issue many have with it - they don't follow through very well with service and usually require you to set it back to factory settings first - not good if backup doesn't work either ;) I do hope this unit works well for you for a long time...good luck.
