The Hewlett Packard Pavilion laptop is very worrth the price. Our laptop has an 80 gig hard drive with 2 gigs of RAM. It has never failed to do anything we have asked of it. We use it online using a cable modem connection and it's as smooth as glass. I also use it for graphic design. The graphics capabilities make it clear, quick and clean. I want to buy another for my wife very soon.
One thing that is great about this laptop is that is has a built-in numerical keypad on the right side, just like a standard keyboard. This makes doing calculations or working with numbers so much easier.
The laptop itself is a little heavy and cumbersome, but in a way that is good because it doesn't feel so light that it feels as if it will break at the slightest movement.
