Hp Pda Ipaq Hx 4700 Review By donnabc on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
I bought this particular PDA to keep track of customer contacts & phone numbers when my husband started his own business about two or three years ago now. After quite a bit of research I chose this model over others mostly because of the vga 640 x 480 resolution. All the other PDAs at the time were half this size.
One of the pluses is that it comes with a titanium casing so it is extremely durable. In fact, my son (now 9) has used it as much as I have to play games on long trips. It also uses SD or CF memory sticks to store extra data which I have used for GPS when traveling.
One of the draw backs are that it uses a stylus and these little tiny sticks are super easy to loose. To replace them they cost about $10 for 3.

I like the titanium casing on this PDA. some of them are rather fragile and can crack, then the thing becomes useless.
I'm not too terribly familiar with PDA's because I don't have one-I dind't realize that HP made them!
What does PDA mean? Something Data Attachment? I am just curious, because I don't know that much, when it comes to computer terms and attachments. Most of the time, I'm just winging it. I'm I will see something and know what it does, but can't tell you what the name of it is.
I have never handle a PDA myself , looks like it is a very good gadget to own one.
