HR Block

My husband is an independent contractor. We decided to try H&R Block for our tax service one year. We were extremely unhappy with them. We ended up letting them do the previous years taxes (my hubby was not in the states so these couldn't be filed the previous year) and we paid an outrageous amount of money for those.. We ended up taking our forms to a well trusted accountant who learned we could have gotten back more money that previous year. He also did our taxes for the next year at a cheaper cost. We ended up getting back more money in the long run, but we still lost for going to H&R Block. I feel their advice was rediculous and their customer service was just the same. I don't recommend people to go here. If I'm asked for my advice I tell them to skip that company.
