Huggies Little Swimmers By DealHippo on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My two year old daughter takes swim classes at a local facility, so we have had a lot of experience with swim diapers. Our swim facility actually does not allow these diapers in their pools because they say that they are not effective enough, and I agree. Basically, what these are designed to do is keep the "solids" in the diaper is baby going to the bathroom in the pool. It does not keep the water out of the diaper, so basically what you'll have is strained poo. Not the best. Honestly, I think these are more for "peace of mind" than effectiveness, so I'd either buy a reusable swim diaper or just let baby go without. They are fairly expensive, especially if you swim often. Otherwise, they do seem to fit well and my daughter did not seem to mind wearing them.
