Huggies Natural Care Wash Not For Sensitive Skin By traceyb22 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My son has really sensitive skin and we are always looking for bath products that don't irritate it. I use unscented Dove soap for his skin, but haven't found anything I really like for his hair. I picked up the Huggies wash one day, thinking that it might do the job. It says that it is tear-free and hypoallergenic and can be used for the body and hair.

I noticed right away that it is scented. The scent is a pleasant soapy smell and it's not too overwhelming. The wash lathers well and rinses off easily. Unfortunately, it it does irritate my son's eyes and skin. After washing his hair with he is constantly scratching his head and the back of his neck breaks out in a faint rash. It also seems to bother his eyes. They are always red after a bath with this and he rubs them constantly afterwards.

I think this bodywash is fine if your child doesn't have issues with sensitve skin, but I'd stay away from it for he does.
