Huggies Swimpers are made for children who are not potty trained and want to swim in a pool or the ocean. Swimpers come in a variety of sizes and offer just a little protection. The protection offered by this pseudo diaper is not very absorbent. If a child pees in the Swimper it will not soak in like a diaper, but run down the child's leg. I can see the protective quality for a child dong number two, but if a child pees in a pool with a Swimper on the pee will still go in the water.

The styles are cool and fun for kids, which makes them want to wear them. Kids are quick to learn that a Swimper means water time and give up no fight to put them on. While this is great for swimming sessions, my children wanted to wear them around the house all the time. And, that falls back on the fact that the Swimper offers no protection.

I will not buy Swimpers again. The protection is minimal at best. This product earns only two out of five smiles.
