When I was in Dagupan City to visit our radio station there and perform some technical concerns of the station, I came across one of the tourist's destinations of our country. Hundred Islands is located in Alaminos, Pangasinan City where local and foreign tourists enjoy the view of these more than one hundred islands adjacent to each other and the clean blue water of the sea.

During our signal propagation test, the group decided to stay overnight in one of the islands. I never spent anything coz the Station Manager gave me a treat and that his wife is a municipal employee. I learned that "bancas" can be rented at Php1,500.00 but it change depending on the season. You can bring food into your room but littering is strictly prohibited. As you lay down your body in a wooden bed you can feel the waves of the sea and the cool wind of the surroundings. It is my first time to sleep in the middle of the sea but I could say that it was the most peaceful one I had by now.

The different islands have different level of water so if you have kids with you better go and rent on the "Children's Island." This place is highly recommended for those people who wants to enjoy nature and be with nature.
