Hungry Hungry Hippo Game By Olin Froid on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
Hungry Hungry Hippos is a game for children aged four to seven released by Hasbro. This game offers children a chance to gobble up little white marbles thrown in tot he middle of four hungry, bright colored plastic hippos by pushing their tales to open and close their mouths. The game is a riot, and the little ones will work hard to open and shut the mouths of the hippos to allow them access to that marble! The game is very sturdy also, and holds up well to the constant beating our little one gives it. The attention span factor was high also, because once someone gets that little marble, everyone is ready for the next one to hit the table. The game is great for encouraging focus and fun along with counting skills to see who has the most marbles overall at the end.

I loved this game when i was a kid. Glad it is still around.
For some reason, I can't get my older sisters to play this game with me. Just because they're over 50 is no reason they can't have a laugh, is it? I love this game!
I'm glad this game is still around, although I have to admit that I was always frustrated because my older sister always seemed to beat me when we were kids. It was still a lot of fun, and seemed like it was a very durable game.
I know my son would love this game...it's a classic. I'm going to have to keep this in mind for his birthday.
We love this game. The children enjoyed pounding the table and watching the hippos mouths move when they were younger. It is really a cute game.
My younger sisters loved this game when we were growing up. They never could beat their older siblings at strategy games, but Hungry, Hungry Hippo leveled the playing field.
Sounds like a great game for the little ones. Oh and me. LOL
This one came out a little bit after my kids were little (or at least we didn't have it), but it sounds like good action and entertainment.
I use to love to play this game when I was a child.
I loved this game when I was a child! I'm looking forward to playing it with my children!
