Hunter's Care-Free Humidifier Plus is a must have item for any area lacking humidity. I keep ours running nonstop. I refill the tank two or three times a day. It keeps my skein from drying out, cracking and bleeding. That happens when I do not have it on for a few days. Every five or six months I clean it and let it air dry for a few days. It is easy to clean. It can fit inside a dish washier and is alright to clean in the dish washier. The filter never has to be replaced. It makes a little noise which after a day or two I got use to it and now I don't even pay attention to the noise. When my daughters got a cold this helped with their sore throats. There are three settings to run it. I run it on the highest one. We have had ours since 2006 and have had any problems.
