We have had these for seven years and they have proven to be high in quality, choice of colors, materials, workmanship, Maintainability. My highest praise goes for there room darkening properties. They are light green but the tight fit and double body constructions makes them the best room darkening shades I have ever seen.

I am well qualified to judge room darkening properties because early in my career I worked in a electro optics laboratory on Image intensification equipment that mutliplied amount of availbale light more than 10,000 times. For this kind of equipment it was very important for a dark room that would put a photographic dark room to shame. The walls and door was specially designed so no measurable light was in this room.

I wish hotels paid more attension to room darkening as all I have stayed at do not compare to this Hunter Douglas product room darkening properties. I highly reccomend this product for bedrooms.
