Huntington Beach, California By tinkerbelle22 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I visited the town of Huntington Beach, California and found it to be one of the best beach towns that I have ever visited. The area along the Pacific Coast Highway, the pier and Main Street are just beautiful.

I took a walk on the Huntington Beach pier, where you get some great views of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding coastline. There isn't too much to do on the pier itself, but the views you get from there are definitely worth checking out. At the end of the pier is Ruby's Diner, which I didn't go to, but it looked good. There are also a few souvenir stores.

Huntington Beach is a popular surfing town, so I had a lot of fun watching the people surfing in the ocean. Only a few of them seemed to be able to catch the waves but it was entertaining watching them try to do it.

The Main Street area has several great stores and restaurants. Most of the restaurants seemed to have places to sit outside, which is a great atmosphere. Some of the stores I especially liked were the surfing and souvenir stores, as well as the candy and sweets stores.

Huntington Beach is a very clean town, and perfect for all ages to enjoy. I had a great time exploring beach and town there, and I definitely think that anyone who visits there will enjoy it as much as I did.
