Hydrating Cleansing Milk
By moonbeam973 onAvalon Organics Vitamin C Hydrating Cleansing Milk comes in a pump, and 8.5 oz. is $10.95 at WalMart. This product claims to be loaded with antioxidants, and that was part of the appeal to me.What else was appealing about the product? It offers "soap-free cleansing", also "100% vegetarian ingredients. No animal testing.Paraben free.EU cosmetic directive compliant."It doesn't contain artificial colors or fragrances.I felt confident that I was buying a product that is safe for my skin, and not bad for the environment. This cleanser is very gentle and mild (for normal to dry skin), probably too mild to remove a lot of make-up (I use a separate product for that before cleansing), but it doesn't dry out delicate facial skin. The only thing I don't love about it (again, this seems to be the case with so many natural, paraben/sulfate free products) is a lack of lather. It feels nice and has a wonderful scent, but it's a little hard to get used to the product not lathering. The benefits far outweigh the lather issue.I highly recommend this product.

I love the idea of these all-natural and animal-friendly products. I just wish they had more geared towards acne-prone and oily/combination skin. Most all-natural products seem to be geared towards dry skin it seems. Also, I heard that cleansers that lather are more drying, so that's probably a good thing =)
