Hydrogen Peroxide is a great part of any first aid kit or just in general is great to have around for everyday sterilizing use. It's very inexpensive and is available in grocery stores, drug stores and department stores. I tried the Target Brand which came in a 16oz size. It says on the packaging that it can also be used as a gargle or rinse but I use it primarily as a first aid antiseptic. What's really great about it is that it cleans wounds and doesn't sting like alchohol does. It's also great to sterilize things like for instance, I have sensitive ears that get infected easily if I don't clean my earrings before putting them on. This is a great sanitizer that I use daily to clean my earrings. It's great for cleaning wounds and sterilizing. I recommend it greatly for an addition to anyone's home and first aid kit.
