I tried Hylands Calmes Forte and Calmes Forte for kids to help my son who was having restless sleep and night terrors after being given a suggestion to do so. They are small pills that either dissolve (the kids type) or are to be swallowed. My son took them very easily, and called them his "bad dream medicine." However, I found them to be pretty ineffective in settling him down or making his sleep more restful. He still took a while to fall asleep and still got up at night, quite often screaming. I found that the effects were more psychosomatic than anything. Giving him magic words to say were just as effective and much less costly than the pills. Since it is all natural, safe ingredients, there was no harm done in trying them, but I was dissapointed in how well they worked.
