My husband has a physical condition that periodically causes him to suffer from leg cramps at nighttime. He doesn't like using smelly deep heating rubs, although they do help. I had heard about Hylands having a homeopathic rub that helped in this area of concern, so I ordered it for my husband. It came in a 2.5 ounce tube and, while it did have a slight menthol smell, it was far better than the typical analgesic rubs you find in drugstores,meaning we didn't have to lose sleep gagging from an overpowering scent. I massaged the ointment into the areas of my somewhat sarcastic spouse's legs and calves and he was pleasantly surprised when the cramps began to ease. Since that time, I keep a tube nearby, for times when his nighttime cramping gets too uncomfortable to bear and, sure enough, the symptoms are alleviated within a matter of minutes. It does stain slightly, but that's a minor aggravation, considering the positive results we get.
