I Can Play Piano By tinaninea on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I just purchased this game on clearance! It was nearly $80 at Christmas and I wasn't about to pay that for something that I was unsure if my children would like it.

The I Can Play Piano game is basically a keyboard shaped video game console. It comes with one video game cartrige that has about ten classic songs on it and a few "musical" games to play. You can also chose to play free style. To play the songs, you watch the tv screen and the notes will move up from the bottom to the image of the correct keys. When the notes move across the yellow line that is on the image of the piano keys, your child should press the corresponding keys on the console to play the notes. It's that simple. You can choose to play the right-hand or left-hand part to each song or you can select to play both parts.

The box states that it is for ages 3+. I'm certain my 3 year old son could not do this, but my 6 year old absolutely loves it! There are several game cartridges that you can purchase for about $15 each including Dora, Nicktoons, & Barbie. Overall, I think it is a good educational and musical gaming system for young children.

How cool is that? And what a great deal on the price! Much cheaper and less aggrevation than lessons:0)
