I love my Verilux Original Full Spectrum Floor Lamp (and desk lamp). While it may not be The Single Most Attractive Lamp Ever, it's not at all bad looking and quality definitely wins out on this one. I need a lot of light in my living space in order to feel comfortable working there. My Verilux lamp offers bright light in a portable package that I can move around the room and house depending on my needs (are there guests? do I need extra light in my studio? am I doing fine knotwork for jewelry?). With Verilux, I know I won't damage my eyes from reading in the dark or straining to see thin strands of waxed thread because there is always plenty of light. I have several Verilux lamps: in my common area, bedroom, office, and studio. I recommend them to my closest friends and family and now I am recommending them to you.

No one makes better lighting products then Verilux, I have a Original Natural Spectrum Ivory floor lamp at home, I love to knit under it. Best of that the Utility Tray that comes with it. It can hold my needles, yarn or thread, other needed items, TV remote, and a Glass of water and i don't worry about anything falling.
