Reviewing: Cimb I Click

I signed up for CIMB credit card because they are giving an instant rebate of 2 % on petrol purchase . even though it is only 2 % it is better than nothing with the government now reducing their petrol subsidy and the price of petrol at a whooping RM 2.70 a litre !!

CIMB offers online banking even for reloading our prepaid for our moblie phones. Last week my son rang me to ask me to use Iclick to reload his mobile. I did click but it was so user unfriendly with TAC. When I first log in they want my ID and password then the website direct me to TAC where a password is sent to my moblie . When I log in withthat temporary password that only last for an hour, it says invalid password!! For a computer savy person I already find it so difficult to use, what more to say for other users!! At the end my online account was suspended!! I have yet to call the customer service to ask them to reset my account.

The Iclick is useful if only they make it more user friendly ..hope they will do that someday.

Yep, the facility is terrible. And when you call the service rep, they will tell you that they designed it in such a way to make the service more secure. The same goes for other bank here, which make me think that the banks don't really encourage us to do online banking. Many of us are being deterred to us such a service as the online facility systems fare very badly in its user friendly part.

I tend to try to avoid online banking entirely because of all the identity theft going on plus but you do get to really look into things, of course that means the company has less employees, you sit on the phone for hours waiting for someone, and you probably get the run around..
