My kids each got an I-dog Amp'd for Christmas. If you're not familiar with these, they are little dogs that you can plug your mp3 player into and it plays your music through its speakers. They also move their ears and tail in time to the music. There are lights on the head that light up different colors. It is very cute. However my kids both like their original I-Dogs better. The amp'd version is supposedly "new and improved". My kids say that the mechanics of the thing are too loud when the dog is moving and grooving to the music. They actually have to crank the volume of the music up while the dog is moving and then back down when the dog is still. They are easy enough to use but I feel like they are way overpriced! I'm sure in time the price will go down a bit, but the original versions are preferred by my kids.
