I Don't Need a Train in my Kitchen
By bubblywriter onThe train is rumbling along the tracks in my kitchen as I type.To give me my due, I wouldn't have picked this refrigerator if I had the chance.I live in an apartment and it was provided to all the tenants due to its energy efficiency. From the moment I opened the door I was less than pleased, the temperature control mechanism sits directly in the front center obstructing much needed storage space and a hindrance.I have hit my hand on it regularly trying to get the items out as I negotiate around it.The depth of the shelving units are adequate, but you cannot change the levels for height purposes which makes unpacking after grocery shopping an adventure. The freezer is a good size, I have no complaints about it.Now, for my train, I have never heard a refrigerator make this amount of noise, it almost breaks the decibel scale, I kid you not.In this day and age of convenience with manufacturers trying to make the appliances quieter, I don't understand how this model ever made it out of the factory.
