I Don't Need A Train In My Kitchen By bubblywriter on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The train is rumbling along the tracks in my kitchen as I type. To give me my due, I wouldn't have picked this refrigerator if I had the chance. I live in an apartment and it was provided to all the tenants due to its energy efficiency. From the moment I opened the door I was less than pleased, the temperature control mechanism sits directly in the front center obstructing much needed storage space and a hindrance. I have hit my hand on it regularly trying to get the items out as I negotiate around it. The depth of the shelving units are adequate, but you cannot change the levels for height purposes which makes unpacking after grocery shopping an adventure. The freezer is a good size, I have no complaints about it. Now, for my train, I have never heard a refrigerator make this amount of noise, it almost breaks the decibel scale, I kid you not. In this day and age of convenience with manufacturers trying to make the appliances quieter, I don't understand how this model ever made it out of the factory.
