I know it won't work for everyone who takes it, but it worked for me. Clomid was prescribed to me when I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovaries and was told I would not be able to get pregnant without medical intervention. I was started at 50mg for five days and that did not help. My doctor then added an additional 50mg for a total of 100mg for five day. The 100mg dosage worked for me and I ovulated and became pregnant with my son. I am so grateful for modern medicine and this drug. I know many women who have become pregnant using clomid and to me and many others, it is a miracle drug. I had very few side effects, mainly just bloating, but in the end it was so worth it. Clmoid is rellatively cheap, even without insurance, and is a great place to start infetility treatments.
