Since music is so much a part of our fondest memories, it's nice that Hallmark has greeting cards called Innovations. They contain a nice verse (or sometimes a funny one), and when you open them, they also play music. One of my Valentine's Day cards from my husband was this type. And wouldn't you know it? When I opened it up, it played, "I Got You Babe" by Sonny and Cher. Being an original flower child, I was thrilled, as this is one of my all-time favorite songs.
Innovations cards by Hallmark are made with recycled paper. They are a bit expensive at $4.99, but ALL greeting cards are overpriced these days. At least with this one, you can always open it up and hear a great song. Some of the first music cards that I saw like this were not very loud. You could barely hear the music. But this one plays nice and loud, and sounds terrific.
My husband seemed to get a kick out of it, and he also bought one for our daughter that played, "My Girl" as we always used to sing that together as a family, and it's one of her favorites.
So consider a Hallmark Innovations card for your next celebration, and say how you feel with a special song.

While looking for Valentine's Day cards my daughter and I came across a number of these types and we opened each and every one. Definitely a huge improvement over the first generation of these types of musical cards - very clear quality and well done. Thanks for the info on these.
