I have Sensitive eyes...
By loveonce1 onI have very sensitive eyes when it comes to contact lense solution. I tried a few different ones and they all seemed to burn and then my eyes would be bloodshot for a few hours. My eye doctor told me to try the Bausch & Lomb Sensitive Eyes saline solution as an alternative. I went to the drug store and picked some up. I even happned to catch them on sale. I got 2 bottles for $4.
That night I let them soak in the solution and cleaned them before I put them in my eyes. I was so relieved that they didn't burn at all and they felt so clean at the same time. I have used this product ever since.
On the box it says that the saline solution is a preserved thimerosal-free saline solution made for people with sensitive eyes. I am personally not an optometrist and I am not sure what that means exactly, but I do know that my eyes never burn or sting and I am very satified with the product.
I think my sister might use this brand of contact solution but I'm not sure. I hate having red eyes, everyone always thinks you are either sick, have been crying, or you have a hangover! Glad to hear you found a solution that works good for you!
I've heard many good things about Bausch & Lomb eye products. Glad you found a product to meet your needs.
Wow I'll probably end up checking this item out too. I have eye allergies per my eye doctor. I can't wear certain brands of contact lenses, something to do with in inside of my eye lid. It just gets irritated easily, thanks for the great info and I will be checking this out too.
I have also used this product in the past and found it to be very gentle. My daughter still uses it.
Sounds great, I can't wear contacts, wish I could. My daughter uses this because her eyes are sensitive too. She have been using this now for about 4 years and has never had a problem. Thanks.
You got two boxes of these for $4.00?! Girl, you are lucky-that's such a bargain!! I'm so happy that this has not irritated your eyes!
Glad you found a saline that works for you. And that you found it on sale! Saline can get pricey.

So glad you found something to work on your eyes without any pain! Burning & stinging eyes are absolutely NO fun!
I don't wear contacts personally, but will onpass the info to friends who do.
