I will admit, after this movie, I'm converted over to the dark side of comedy, because normally, I like typical comedy. This is a movie I would typically categorize as 'male oriented'-- a guys' movie. During which I normally roll my eyes and sigh. But this one had me laughing out loud within the first five minutes. Just as 'Knocked Up' (despite its misogynistic title) may appear to be a female targeted movie about getting pregnant, meanwhile appealing to the corny funny bone of the male species.

I don't even think I had to dumb myself down to get the jokes, as I usually do for this kind of movie. That's probably owed to the fact that it's part of the '40-Year-Old Virgin' and 'Knocked Up' franchise. The writing was brilliant and the delivery and execution by the team of actors is unmatched. Few site gags (beside the nude break-up scene) but the chemistry between characters made the humor even funnier.

Poor Peter seems to be having a hard time getting over ex-girlfriend Sarah, and to try to move on, takes a vacation in Hawaii, and lo-and-behold, Sarah and her now rock-and-roller boyfriend are staying at the same resort. Imagine the awkwardness interlaced with nude humor, and you will see that this grown-up only style of laughs is unforgettable.
