I love Direct Tv

When we moved into our new home we had recently had a terrible experience with our one and only cable company in our area so we decided to go with Satellite instead. When setting up our phone and internet service I learned that AT&T had a bundle discount involving Direct TV that took a nice chuck from the usual price for the programming we wanted.We had them come and install the day we moved in, the young man was very courteous and even tolerated our annoying pooch nipping at his heels.We have 4 receivers hooked up with numerous channels including TONS of music video channels like FUSE, MTV and VH1, several country music channels, several spanish channels.The music channels are numerous encompassing every genre you could imagine.The movie channels come in clear and crisp.They offer pay per view and DVR service as well.There is always something on to watch with Direct Tv in fact the biggest problem will be deciding what to watch.I highly recommend this service to anyone leaps and bounds over cable anytime.
Update On Mar 27, 2008: I forgot to add how much our monthly cost was. our bill runs right at 67.00 a month with 4 recievers and tons of great channels.
I use to have direct TV and i noticed now that their rates have come way down since I use to have it. Thanks for the information.

uch $67 seems like a lot to me. I think this service sounds heavenly and I would love to have better music channels (I am so over my MTV) but I think I will stick with my basic cable at $16.99 a month for now.
So wait...you get internet, phone, and TV for $67? Or is just your TV service $67? If it's everything that sounds like a great deal! Glad to hear you are happy with the service.

$67 for four receivers is a steal of a deal-good for you!!
