I love collecting toys and action figures . As a boy I love cars so it is not surprising that I collected Matchbox cars since they are affordable and durable. My latest addition to my Matchbox collection is this set of 5 packs vehicles, each highly detailed. vehicles ranging from cars, trucks, speed boats rafts to helicopters!! Matchbox really has made good use of their imagination to come out with models like this. It is not only fun playing with these vehicles but educational too!!
Pros: As with all Matchbox products, the final details and quality of the toy is definitely unmatched. Matchbox is one of the toy that can withstand all my years of rough play and throwing and stepping around. The most my Matchbox vehicles suffer is the chirping off of paint.
Cons: The metals used are so good that stepping on the toy cars accidentally can be real painful.
Additional thoughts: At the moment I can only afford the smaller vehicles ...wait till one day I will definitely buy myself a huge Matchbox car , since I love Matchbox so much

They make huge matchbox cars? I think this type of toy car is a great one to collect. It brings out the kid in all guys. I think of course it is a great toy for little boys to play with too. My son has his collection from when he was little. He passed them on to his children now.
I have always been a fan of matchbox cars and even though I am a girl, had some when I was young. I was very excited to give those to my son not long ago and told him they were mine from when I was little. He thought is was way cool that mom had them too.
My son likes these little cars too. I like how they are so inexpensive that they often make a good bribe while shopping. :)
We all remember the Matchboxes and the pleasure we got out of them.
You should get together with my husband-he loves collecting Matchbox cars too!
My brother still has all his Matchbox cars - some in their original boxes. I'm not sure what condition the cars are in since they were played with a lot (he actually let me play with them too!) They really are quality toys.
I can attest to your comment about stepping on a Matchbox car! Because our grandson loves them, they are all over the house!
