I Love My Apple MacBook!
By crunkyjens onFor my birthday this year my parents got me one of the best presents ever, a new laptop!And not just any laptop, they got me a brand new Apple MacBook.I had been wanting a new laptop for awhile now ever since my old one kind of died on me.I did not want a Windows based one either as I've always been attracted to Macs ever since I used one back in college for a writing class, plus I was ready for something new!
The MacBook I got is white in color, 13 inch screen, 2.1 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 1 GB of memory, 120 GB hard drive, and a combo drive.My Macbook is very sleek, only 1.08 inches thickness!It also has a MagSafe power adapter that releases automatically if someone trips or pulls on the cord.I love this feature because now I don't have to worry about the power cord connector breaking, or my laptop getting pulled off the couch or table and falling onto the floor.It also comes equipped with a lithium polymer battery.
Mac is very well known for it's picture, music, and video editing software.I know at my school for these types of classes it is the computer brand of choice.I just received my notebook today in the mail so I have yet to explore all of it's editing programs.My laptop also came equipped with Microsoft Office which was a definite need as I need this document suite for my college classes.
I should also mention we got a $100 discount because I was enrolled in college classes.I think it's great that they offer a little incentive like that.
Even though I have yet to explore all my MacBook has to offer I am already in love with it and I know it's going to be a great laptop!I have no complaints yet!

You have such great and thoughtful parents to gift you such a great lappy! You can bet that a MacBook is on my list of things that I want! and way up on the top too! I still have some life in mine... and do not want to waste the perfectly good laptop that I have... but I am sure jonsing for a Mac!

I'm typing this from my more than four years old Apple PowerBook. I'll be needing a new laptop soon and I won't buy anything other than an Apple Computer.
It is light weight and the widescreen is amazing
